Illustrations by Dirk I. Tiede will be on exhibit at Beverly Cooperative Bank

BEVERLY, MA –October 26, 2009 – Beverly Cooperative Bank is hosting an exhibit of illustrations by cartoonist and professional illustrator Dirk I. Tiede.

Mr. Tiede is the creator of the Japanese-inspired, Paradigm Shift, an online comic series and founding flagship title on the premiere webcomics service, ModernTales.com. Artwork from his graphic novel, Equilibrium, appeared in Toon Art: The Art of Digital Comics in 2003, and received overwhelming praise from publications such as NewType USA and MoviePoopshoot.com.

The works on exhibit will include original comic pages from the Paradigm Shift shift series, with an emphasis on Chicago cityscapes and environments; and a four-page sequence illustrating the great Boston molasses flood of 1919.


Beverly Cooperative Bank is hosting an exhibit of illustrations by Dirk I. Tiede.

The exhibit will run from October 26 to December 7. The public is invited to drop by the exhibit at the bank’s main office at 254 Cabot Street, Beverly, during regular banking hours: Monday - Wednesday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm; Thursday & Friday, 8:30 am – 8:00 pm; and Saturday, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm.

In addition to the main office at 254 Cabot Street, Beverly Cooperative Bank also has offices at North Beverly Plaza and 48 Enon Street in Beverly, as well as 73 Lafayette Street in Salem. The bank is a member of FDIC and member of SIF, and the SUM ATM network, as well as an Equal Housing lender.
