BEVERLY, MA – April 22, 2011 – During its recent annual meeting, Beverly Cooperative Bank elected two new corporators:  Robert W. Mitchell, Jr. and Dr. Chrystal Denmark Porter.

Robert W. Mitchell, Jr. is Senior Vice President/Chief Financial Officer at Beverly Cooperative Bank, and also serves as BSA Officer. Mr. Mitchell was most recently Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and BSA Officer of Eagle Bank in Everett. Active in the Massachusetts Bankers Association, he is a member of its New England Debit Card Task Force and former chairman of the Retail Banking Committee. Mr. Mitchell was recently elected a director of the Beverly Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Chrystal Denmark Porter is Assistant Dean of Sport Science & Fitness Studies/Chair of Sport Management at Endicott College, in Beverly. She has delivered numerous business and academic presentations, authored several publications and has been a guest on various radio shows. Dr. Porter is a member of the Higher Education Consultant Association, National Academic Advisors Association, International Positive Psychology Association and the Mortar Board National Honor Society.
