BEVERLY, MA – JULY 28, 2010 – Beverly Cooperative Bank has announced that two of the bank’s directors, Susan Wiltshire and Peter Hersee, have retired.

Ms. Wiltshire has been a director of Beverly Cooperative Bank since 1991 when she was the first woman elected to the bank’s board. She is Vice President Emeritus of JK Research Associates in Hamilton and a former chairperson of the Board of Selectman in Hamilton and of the Board of Northeast Health Systems in Beverly.

Mr. Hersee has been a director of Beverly Cooperative Bank since 1990. He is a past CEO of Beverly Cooperative Bank and a past president and CEO of Beverly Savings Bank. In addition, he served six years as a selectman in Wenham and has been involved in many community organizations and activities.

Beverly Cooperative Bank has offices at 254 Cabot Street, North Beverly Plaza and 48 Enon Street in Beverly, as well as an office at 73 Lafayette Street in Salem. The bank is a member of FDIC and member of SIF, and the SUM ATM network, as well as an Equal Housing lender.
