Beverly Cooperative Bank’s holiday tradition of
collecting toys for the Salvation Army continues

SALEM, MA – December 4, 2007 – Once again, Beverly Cooperative Bank employees and customers are donating toys for needy children through the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program.

All four of the Bank’s branches are participating by having in their lobbies a holiday tree decorated with paper angels. Those wishing to participate take a paper angel off the tree and purchase a toy for the corresponding child.

According to Bill Howard, president of Beverly Cooperative Bank, “Our customers and employees are incredibly generous. The number of toys collected last year exceeded everyone’s expectations.”

Beverly Cooperative Bank has offices at 254 Cabot Street, North Beverly Plaza and 48 Enon Street in Beverly, as well as an office at 73 Lafayette Street in Salem. The bank is a member of FDIC and member of SIF, and the SUM ATM network, as well as an Equal Housing lender. More information can be found at beverlycoop.com.
